Movie Review

alien covenant movie onlinealien covenant full movie – Alien: Covenant has been released in the UK and we could confirm that, whether or not you are a fan of Ridley Scott’s prequel Prometheus, this is a greatly different film (our review of which you may read here ). Danny McBride, Billy Crudup and Katherine Waterston are just about the only remaining cast members who get an opportunity to reveal any character and they do so well, McBride going on to surprise several people, including me, with such a straight performance as the pilot Tennessee.

A heap of new footage that people were lucky enough to see recently revealed some more keys of what might be going on here, including giving us a good look at Michael Fassbender’s other Android Walter as we see The Covenant and its particular crew happen upon a new planet where they discover the alien race, including a brand new spikey spider-bunny sort version of the alien.

Daniels is the most dull protagonist in the entire Alien franchise (excluding the spin-offs which don’t matter) and one actually hopes that after Alien: Covenant, the tropes that have become a common fixture in every Alien movie are thrown out of the window for good.

On the great director’s 79th birthday (December 1 in case you’re searching for presents) a picture was revealed of Sir Ridley on set of Covenant with none apart from the Space Jockey appearing behind him This was the dead extraterrestrial being found by the crew of Ripley’s (Sigourney Weaver) ship the Nostromo in the first Alien film, who also reappeared in Prometheus.

Among the main tasks Ridley Scott had with making Alien: Covenant was attempting to make a film which wasn’t merely a carbon copy of what had come before it. Scott does this by blending the ideas raised together with the horror elements of his first Alien to develop a daring new chapter that certainly raises more questions but leaves open the door somewhat intriguingly for at least another film in the franchise.
